Possible Bands for “Music From the Farm”
We are starting to line up this summer’s Music From the Farm series at Sunny Meadow Farm, and I have to say… it is shaping up to be a great season.
Below is a list of possible bands who have expressed interest in playing. Take a look. If you like a band, have seen them before, or want to throw your support behind one, drop a comment. If there’s someone we should add to the list, please let me know that as well.
We have six total slots for the series.
Two are already filled.
One is set aside for a spoken word evening, something a little different this year (5-minute stories like “The Moth”).
That leaves THREE open spots.
This series has always been about bringing different styles and different voices together in a relaxed farm setting. Music, community, sunset over the fields. No big production. Just good people and good performances.

Our band, The Jimmy Otis Trio, would be interested in playing at your summer concert series for 2026.
We are a trio of piano, bass, and drums, specializing in ragtime and traditional jazz — mostly music from the early 1900s. I’ve attached three recordings to give you a sense of the type of music we play.
We perform regularly at Lowell’s Warp and Weft, as well as a variety of private events in MA and Southern NH. (We are a subset of Mill City Rags – a band that performed at Sunny Meadow in 2021).
I am a solo acoustic guitarist/singer/harmonica player with a wide range of songs allowing me to cater to several types of audiences. My job, simply put, is to entertain. I have been at this for a long time and have never lost sight of the fact is that entertainment must be well rehearsed, fun and add value to the venue/event whether it be a bar, restaurant, celebration of life or a charitable cause. I use a looper on a few songs so I can play lead guitar to get things going. If the venue wants just acoustic, I play lead using a classical guitar. If the place really want to rock, I will play lead using electric guitar. I have a mailing list that usually can bring 10 to 20 people to the venue depending on the location and other factors and hoping to build a rapport with folks at your event(s). This is a work in progress.
I have been in many bands over the years, but my 11 years in power trio cover band TMinus1 from 1990 – 2001 is worth mentioning. I was the lead singer/lead and rhythm guitarist/harp player and had regular gigs at many of the bars in Dracut, Hampton Beach, Fitchburg, Manchester NH, Lowell etc.

Our name is Clark Hill. We have a setup of 4 musicians and won’t need any technical/audio equipment. We play a variety of covers and a few originals, everything – Tom Petty, Taylor Swift, and everything in between.

Toadpatrol
My name is Mitchell and I saw your post on the Chelmsford news feed looking for bands for your summer concert series. My band, Toadpatrol, is a funk band that does mostly covers with a few originals. We have played lots of shows in the Boston area but I would love to play a show in my hometown. We are a six member band, up to three singers and a horn section. The Treble Makers
new local acoustic trio, The Treble Makers and they are just starting to book outdoor shows for Summer 2026. There are 3 guys-Tony (guitar) Steve (acoustic bass) and my husband Steve (guitar) and all 3 members sing. The genre is acoustic soft rock (primarily from the 70s-Eagles, Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, Little River Band, Bob Seger, Don McLean, etc.).
