Looking for something fun to do? Need some community service hours, or just need an excuse to get outside for a bit? With the new trail along Pine Hill and the connection near the paper road, a huge section of Koulas is now fully walkable. The next step is simple. We need a real trail map.
We are now using an open-source mapping page, and it even shows up in some car systems, including my wife’s Rogue. What we need now is someone to walk the trails and start marking or confirming ID points. Stone Throne, Split Rock, the bridge, the stone bridge, the silage pit, and the two sledding hills. All of these should be added or updated.
Create a free account, walk the trail, and help update the map. This is a perfect project for a Scout troop, a high school student who needs hours, a resident, or anyone who just likes being outside and doing something useful for the community.
