2025 Thanksgiving Walk one for the books!

Now that I finally had a chance to take a break, I wanted to thank everyone who made the Day Before Thanksgiving Walk such a wonderful hit this year.

Troop 75 knocked it out of the park. Fourteen Scouts served hundreds of residents free hot chocolate and cookies. Becky Warren gave a fantastic lesson in Chelmsford history. Our new friends at the pollinator garden gave people waiting the chance to learn about native plants and decorate a tree with little bumblebees. Weston Nurseries sent new plants to make the small park even better. DPW removed a bunch of non-native trees to open the space and brighten the area. Neighborhood volunteers built an outstanding park and garden with a fence that is more art than anything thanks to the beautiful whittling. And especially the residents. A few hundred cars descend on that neighborhood each year for about ninety minutes, and there is never a trace when they leave.

Thank you to the Fire Department for allowing the fire. Thank you to ConCom for allowing residents to hold the event. The feedback this year has been off the charts.

Thank you to everyone from COSS Inc. Next year will be the 20th walk, and we are already looking forward to it.
